Parents often choose to move to Bryan County communities because of the school system test scores, but they stay and form lasting impression of our schools based on the positive daily interactions among students, parents, and school staff. Resources are provided to support exemplary academic and extracurricular programs, but there is a consistent focus throughout the curriculum on values such as patriotism, honesty, and other components of character education. Schools in Bryan County have implemented a number of recognition and appreciation activities to demonstrate gratitude to military parents for their service to both community and country. The Bryan County School System outpaced its neighbors and the state as a whole in SAT scores.
